Four Peaks Energy, Sunland Park, New Mexico – The USDA Rural Development State Director, Patricia Dominguez, will be awarding ESI President Benny Benson, a Certificate of Congratulations for the Four Peaks project’s successful use of USDA financial assistance.

The USDA Rural Development State Director, Patricia Dominguez, will be presenting ESI President Benny Benson a Certificate of Congratulations for the Four Peaks BioGas to Energy project’s successful use of USDA financial assistance.

The Four Peaks Energy facility received a $1,400,000 Business and Industry Loan Guarantee to purchase equipment for greenhouse gas mitigation and methane conversion to useful energy at the Camino Real landfill. The generated electricity is used to serve the surrounding communities’ electrical needs through an interconnect with El Paso Electric. This is the only facility of its kind in the state of New Mexico.

ESI is proud to have built a long-standing relationship with Four Peaks Energy and the Camino Real Landfill by providing engineering solutions to convert a potential liability into a community asset. ESI has always utilized a local workforce to operate and maintain the facility for Four Peaks Energy.
