Energyneeering (ESI) is Founded

Benny and Julie Benson were searching for a new way of life after leaving California in 2006. They found it in Sisters, Oregon where they established the headquarters for an engineering company that now builds and manages renewable energy power plants and renewable natural gas (RNG) facilities across the U.S., Mexico—and as far away as South Korea.

Energyneeering (ESI) Purchases the Sisters Airport, enhances rapid response O&M services

ESI buys Sisters Airport

In 2017, the decision was made to annex the Sisters Airport to ESI's property holdings, following in overwhelming majority vote by the citizens of Sisters. The airport provides ongoing benefit to the community while supporting ESI's rapidly expanding business needs.

Maintaining an airport at our headquarters facilitates efficient travel and supports rapid, responsive service for any urgent needs of our O&M clients.

The market had informally rebranded us as ESI years ago. As the biogas industry matured and grew and we've continued to expand solutions and capabilities that mitigate new complexities and streamline biogas LFGTE and RNG project execution, simplifying our name to reflect ESI's one-stop, end-to-end solutions just made sense!

TransTech announced the formation of TransTech Group, streamlining all TransTech companies into two newly formed divisions—the Engineered Products Group and the Services Group. The Engineered Products Group includes TransTech Fabrication, Bendel Tank & Heat Exchanger, and Metalforms.
